April 30th is Hexennacht—Witches' Night—the evening when, according to Western European tradition, witches were believed to fly up the Brocken and revel in the arrival of spring. Because it falls on the eve of Beltane, the veil between worlds is thin, and the air hums with mischief and power. This year, a full moon rises on Beltane itself, flooding Hexennacht with lunar intensity and making this an especially potent night for magic, prayer, and communion with forces beyond the visible world.
In this year's Hexennacht gathering, Janaka will lead a group invocation and guided prayer to Hecate—Goddess of Boundaries, of Keys, of Witchcraft—calling upon her by name so that together we might offer up what we carry and lighten into the season ahead. Pam will guide us in full moon ritual work to activate this energy, honoring both the holy darkness of Hecate and the fiery celebration of Beltane through visual contemplation and ceremony.
If there are gates you are readying to unlock, shadows you feel called to confront, or limitations you are ready to let go of — or if you simply desire a wild and sacred evening you wish to share in the company of other witches — come fly up the Brocken with us.
Thurs April 30, 8-9:30pm ET (with recording available to view up to 30 days after)
